Schools of Sanctuary
Crickhowell Community Primary School is pleased to announce that it has been accredited as a School of Sanctuary. A huge well done to everyone for this amazing achievement.
A team of four judges from 'Hay, Brecon and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees' visited our school in June 2025 to see our evidence and visit every class. They said, 'It was very clear to us that all the staff, the governors, the parents and the children were committed to a culture of welcome and the School of Sanctuary concept, and had embedded it into the school.' This is so heartening to hear and you can share in our journey through clicking on the documents below. (More will be added over the next few months.)
